Achievements are a list of optional challenges for the player to complete.

The following is a list of the achievements in the Steam version of the game (alphabetical order), as well as some advice for going about completing them.

Icon Name Requirement Tips/strategy
Androids Assemble.jpg Androids Assemble Play as 8 Androids Requires beating Venom in order to unlock Peanut. From there, just play an entire level once for every android once (excluding Liquorice), and you have the achievement.
Art Connoisseur.jpg Art Connoisseur Unlock all items in the Art Gallery The Art Gallery can be found in the "Collections" section of the main menu. Credits are used to unlock artwork, and are earned by completing levels. The amount of credits you're awarded per level is your score divided by 1000 (or equivalently, 1000 Credits per million score points). If you're aiming for all achievements, you will have more than enough credits to buy everything after completing Assault Android Awesome, so don't worry.
Assault Android Awesome.jpg Assault Android Awesome Earn an S+ ranking on all Campaign Levels The hardest achievement, there's no easy way around it. You just have to learn to hold onto the chain and not die.

While any android will work, Starch or Holly are the easiest for most regular levels, while Cactus is a good choice for bosses. Shiitake is probably the most challenging for regular levels, and Aubergine is probably the most challenging for bosses.

For Collider, try repeatedly bombing Liquorice with Starch's micro missiles while hiding behind a pillar, or use Helo to repeatedly knock her down.

Completing this achievement will award you an in-game congratulatory splash screen, and a special alternate skin for Peanut.

Blast Processing.jpg Blast Processing Activate an EX Option EX Options can be found in the "Collections" section of the main menu. Credits are used to unlock options, and are earned by completing levels. The amount of credits you're awarded per level is your score divided by 5715. Just unlock one and then enable it. Keep in mind that the red EX Options disable leaderboards.
Centre Of Mass.jpg Centre of Mass Destroy an enemy with Helo while it's caught by a Singularity Self-explanatory. Use Aubergine, hit a crowd of mobs in any level with your secondary, and then point Helo at it. Will definitely be unlocked naturally if you play Aubergine for any meaningful period of time.
Chain Gang.jpg Chain Gang Reach a chain of 1000 This one is unusual because no one Campaign level even has 1000 mobs in it in singleplayer. You can still get achievements with EX Options enabled, so try Hive with Virtual Player Count 3 using Lemon or Peanut (VPC2 is about 800-900 mobs). Hive has huge wasp swarms that are pretty easy to deal with.

Alternatively, you could play Infinity Drive or Daily Drive (most Daily Drives have 1000+ mobs), though that is significantly harder.

Chain Reaction.jpg Chain Reaction Cause 3 mines to explode in succession without being shot Not much to this one, you'll probably get it by accident. Use Starch, pick any level that has tons of mines (like Centrifuge), wait for a mine wave, corral the mines, then shoot one. Should cause enough of them to explode to get the achievement.
Collateral Damage.jpg Collateral Damage Destroy 3 enemies by driving another enemy through them with the Giga Drill Requires beating Venom in order to unlock Peanut. Pick an early-ish level (like Capacitor), then drive a Titan through some mobs using the drill. Most levels will work, though. Might take a few attempts.
Credits To Burn.jpg Credits To Burn Unlock any item that costs credits Go to the "Collections" section of the main menu, choose the Codex, Art Gallery or EX Options, then buy something using Credits. Credits are earned by completing levels. The amount of credits you're awarded per level is your score divided by 5715.
Everything's Cactus.jpg Everything's Cactus Destroy 15,000 homicidal robots You will naturally unlock this achievement if shooting for all achievements, but if you want to grind it out for whatever reason, repeatedly beat Hive with Virtual Player Count 3 or 4 using Lemon or Peanut. Hive has huge wasp swarms that are pretty easy to deal with. Using Mega Weapons can make it more fun.
Garden Pruning.jpg Garden Pruning Defeat Hydroponics Controller Vespula Self-explanatory. Cactus is not a bad choice for the job. See the Vespula page for more information.
I Am Become Death.jpg I Am Become Death Complete Boss Rush mode Boss Rush unlocks after you beat Medulla. Cactus is not a bad choice for the job.
Maximum Overdrive.jpg Maximum Overdrive Collect every Battery dropped in the Collider level This one can be a real pain, and will likely require a good few tries. If you're a skilled Aubergine player, keeping her knocked down with Helo will be a pretty easy way to do it. KB&M Shiitake players will also knock her down pretty easily by just clicking on her. While she's knocked down, try to spawn and grab the battery by killing mobs. Get a good feel for how many mobs apart the battery spawns are, and try to anticipate its spawn by killing mobs nearby you when you think a spawn is imminent.
No Hold Will Hold Me.jpg No Hold Will Hold Me Defeat Production Overlord Embryo Self-explanatory. Cactus is not a bad choice for the job. See the Embryo page for more information.
Nothing But Net.jpg Nothing But Net Drop a cannonball down the hole in Filament A cute one. Use Holly in Filament, stand in the far left corner, and fire a cannonball to the right (and slightly downwards). Follow it and it should lose momentum over the hole and drop in with a satisfying thunk. Bouncing it off a Titan might also work (untested).
Opportunity Cost.jpg Opportunity Cost Unlock all items in EX Options EX Options can be found in the "Collections" section of the main menu. Credits are used to unlock artwork, and are earned by completing levels. The amount of credits you're awarded per level is your score divided by 5715. If you're aiming for all achievements, you will have more than enough credits to buy everything after completing Assault Android Awesome, so don't worry.
Out Of Your Depth.jpg Out Of Your Depth Reach layer 25 in Infinity Drive mode There's no easy way around this one. Use Starch, she has the best survivability of the androids. See the Infinity Drive page for more information.
Perfection.jpg Perfection Earn an S+ Rank on any level To earn an S+ you need to complete an entire level without dropping Combo at any time.

For an easy S+, play Descent with Holly, use your primary weapon and perhaps the occasional cannonball, and don't die. Hit the Titan with a cannonball when he bursts out of the box at the end.

Poor Atmosphere.jpg Poor Atmosphere Defeat Superstructure Engineer Venom Self-explanatory. Cactus is not a bad choice for the job. See the Venom page for more information.
Prison Break.jpg Prison Break Destroy every laser fence In Justice's first phase Self-explanatory. Use Starch since both of her weapons are good for picking off the laser fences. Kill them until you get the achievement.
Scrambled Eggs.jpg Scrambled Eggs Defeat one of Embryo's phases before he can relocate Use Cactus or Liquorice. Coral is also possible with precise timing or in the later phases. Any other android will be very difficult if not impossible. Save a powerup from one of his phases. Get a phase down to barely any health, wait for the powerup to turn blue, finish off the phase, collect the powerup, switch weapons, then unload your secondary as soon as the shutdown touches him. Finish him off with your primary if necessary.
Security Breach.jpg Security Breach Defeat Security Administrator Justice Self-explanatory. Cactus is not a bad choice for the job. See the Justice page for more information.
Seven At One Blow.jpg Seven At One Blow Destroy seven enemies with a single Rail Gun shot Most levels have an opening for this, but Vespula is by far the easiest. Use Shiitake, wait a couple of seconds for the wasp swarm to thicken, then fire a railgun slug through the thickest part of the swarm. You should easily unlock the achievement within the first couple of shots.
Stop Shooting Yourself.jpg Stop Shooting Yourself Lead the laser turret to defeat Medulla This one is difficult. Cactus, Coral and Starch are good picks. Play normally until the pre-Aethersphere phase, get her health down to a tiny sliver, then run around killing her "limbs" until the laser turret appears. Try and grab Accelerate while you're at it. When it does, put Medulla between you and it and it should hopefully finish her off. This might require a few tries, since you might run out of Battery before the turret appears. See the Medulla page for more information.
To Cross The Void.jpg To Cross The Void Rescue the Genki Star In other words, defeat Medulla. Cactus is not a bad choice for the job. See the Medulla page for more information.
Untouchable.jpg Untouchable Finish any level without taking damage The easiest way to unlock this is to beat Descent using your favourite Android. Just restart if you take damage at any point.
We Have To Go Deeper.jpg We Have To Go Deeper Reach Layer 15 in Infinity Drive mode Like "Out Of Your Depth" but significantly easier.
Weak Link.jpg Weak Link Reach a chain of 100 You will certainly unlock this one through natural play, but if it evades you for some reason, just beat Descent with your favourite android and hold Combo for most of it.
Well Read.jpg Well Read Unlock all items in the Codex The Codex can be found in the "Collections" section of the main menu. Credits are used to unlock codex entries, and are earned by completing levels. The amount of credits you're awarded per level is your score divided by 5715. If you're aiming for all achievements, you will have more than enough credits to buy everything after completing Assault Android Awesome, so don't worry.
